En couleur will be a unique and exciting fundraising event in the Visual Arts Centre’s McClure Gallery, featuring over one-hundred artworks selected from our dynamic community of artists. Ticket-holders will have first choice to invest in artwork and will be served wine and hors d’oeuvres.

The En Couleur Theme

The En couleur theme emphasizes the colourful ways in which the Visual Arts Centre enhances the lives of diverse community members in and around Montreal. We achieve this through our School of Art, the largest bilingual independent art school in Canada; our McClure Gallery, a well-known and highly sought-after contemporary exhibition space with a dynamic educational program; and our ARTreach program, an outreach educational program for youth and individuals in difficult social and economic situations. To emphasize this, the exhibition design and benefit evening will celebrate colour.

Show Your Colours!

You are invited (but not obliged) to get into the spirit of things by wearing your most colourful outfit! Those who want to go the extra mile could even put together a head-to-toe monochromatic look.

Why Support the Visual Arts Centre?

As a not-for-profit charitable organization, with only 5% of our budget coming from government sources, the Visual Arts Centre relies on fundraising to be able to continue to offer high quality art educational programming. Ticket-holders will have first choice to invest in artwork and will be served wine and hors d’oeuvres.

To preview the work, visit the gallery between November 2 and 7. Sales will begin during the ticketed benefit event on November 7 at 6pm and will continue until the exhibition closes on November 16.
