Projects

April 2012

VAC Community Outreach works with Inner City School to create inspiring schoolyard mural.

St. John Bosco Elementary School in Ville Emard has a new mural thanks to the creative talents of two young graffiti artists and the generous funding of the Webster Foundation.  Toben and Jake – two talented teens – worked hard over the weekend to transform a boring grey 100 foot long brick wall into an inspiring backdrop for the students and their community with its thematic message of literacy and its animated Looney Tune characters.   Thanks also go to our Youth director Jennifer Wicks and the co-ordinating teacher Tanya Steinberg for overseeing the project.  Congratulations Toben and Jake!
