Julie Chartrand

Julie Chartrand first studied ceramics in California, and continued her studies in Vallaruris, France. She returned to Quebec in 2009, where she shares a studio with Manon Delorme and Marko Savard while completing her Master’s in Art History at UQAM. Between theory and practice, Julie questions the contemporary hierarchy between crafts and visual arts, and between functional objects and original work.
