Dessin I - Drawing I (Printemps/Spring 2024)

This course develops a drawing base. Work in a relaxed atmosphere as you develop the basic skills of observational drawing and discover the magic and pleasure of drawing what you see. The fundamentals of light and shade, line, form, and composition will be introduced, using materials such as pencil, ink, charcoal, and Conté. Subjects include still life, live models (including nude models), and nature studies. No prerequisite.
