IMPORTANT UPDATE :

Due to ongoing technical issues with Bid Beacon and Stripe (our auction partners), we are no longer able to continue the auction on their platforms. Therefore we have opted to move the auction to our own website (view auction pieces here). The auction has been extended to Tuesday, November 7, at 6 pm.

If you would like to place a bid on one of the artworks, you have 2 options:

1) Call the gallery at 514-488-9558 ext. 226
2) Email your bid to galeriemcclure@visualartscentre.ca indicating your name, the title of the artwork, and the amount of your bid.

The gallery is open Tuesday-Friday from noon to 6 pm and Saturday from noon to 5 pm. Exceptionally the gallery is open by appointment only on Monday, November 6th.

The Visual Arts Centre is proud to present the 2023 fundraising exhibition and auction Renewal from October 19th to November 4th 2023.

You are invited to join us to celebrate our ongoing commitment to building a more inclusive, open and accessible arts centre. This multifaceted fundraising event celebrates over 25 years of ARTreach, our community outreach programme, and nearly 80 years as an art school.

Since 1996, the Visual Arts Centre has participated in various outreach initiatives in a shared pursuit to create, connect, and inspire. These initiatives include facilitating intergenerational art projects, receiving students from the Wagar Adult Education Centre daily, and offering workshops that support staff mental health at the CHU Sainte-Justine Children’s hospital. This programming could not happen without your financial support. We hope that you will join us during this time to celebrate and support this community pillar that so many have come to love.
