Annual Student Exhibition

Art Hive (in-person): April 23, 1 pm to 3:30 pm

Students registered in the winter session of the Centre’s School of Art are invited to exhibit their work. More than a hundred works will be presented and hung, representing the work of three months of courses in our school. You will find ceramic works next to textile works and figurative drawings next to abstract paintings. There will be something for everyone! Come and discover a wide variety of burgeoning Montreal artists and appreciate the diversity of the artistic production emanating from the Centre. Some works will be for sale.

The Visual Arts Centre provides numerous art classes in Montreal. Our School of Art is the largest bilingual independent non-profit art school in Canada and has been involved in the teaching of art for over 70 years. We receive almost 4000 registrations per year, from students of all ages and walks of life. Our philosophy of teaching balances the development of technical skills with the encouragement of personal creativity.
