Cecilia Torres

Cecilia was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved to Montreal in 2003, where she currently lives and has her studio. She attended Concordia University to obtain a BAC and MA in Art Education, as well as a TESL certificate. Her passion for art and teaching has resulted in a perfect combination of her love of art and the need to share the experiences that come with it.

Specializing in textile arts and the upcycle of materials to retain the essence of their history, Cecilia has contributed to non-profit art schools and community building projects. She works in relation to her cultural roots, seeking inspiration through internal conflict and adaptation.
