This advanced course will review the basic elements and brush techniques of Chinese landscape painting through the study of traditional Chinese landscape masters’ work. Learn their unique ways of expression and interpretation of landscape, and from these masters’ works, students will be guided through the process with demonstrations and will be shown the oriental approach to the creation of poetic landscape works with the dynamic energy of “chi”.
