Using hand building methods and a variety of clay, we will construct forms to create abstract sculpture as a platform for discussion and self-exploration. With a focus on internal states of being, we will develop a visual language for our emotional perceptions. Students will have the opportunity to give an artist talk to their peers, inviting curiosity and conversation around their works in a mock gallery situation.
