Le portrait spontané - Spontaneous Portrait (Automne/Fall 2023)

The portrait will be the focus of this intensive one-day workshop, but it will be approached spontaneously. You will explore effective ways to bring out an expression or character. You will work from a series of exercises and from photographs, then the last two hours of the day will be devoted to studies with a model. The choice of medium is open, chosen from drawing, ink or watercolour. Some drawing experience is recommended.
