Watercolour is a natural medium for expressive portraiture. Mood and personality are revealed through the loose flow of wet-on-wet, the play between drawing and watercolour, as well as dry brush techniques, colour choice, scale and background. Course includes the study of facial features. Source materials: models, photographs, and personal photos. Prerequisite: one session of watercolour and one session of portrait.
