Papiers textiles: textures et volumes - Textile Paper: Texture and Volume (Été/Summer 2023)

This course allows you to explore multiple possibilities of handling white or coloured paper by considering the creative potential of a textile approach to this material. We will study different papers and several techniques allowing us to modify their surfaces either by softening them, stiffening them or by texturing them to create volume. A repertoire of proposed techniques will serve as inspiration for the realisation of a work of textile paper in 2D or 3D. For beginners. Some materials included.
