In this introduction to tapestry as a visual art form, you will be introduced to the exciting practices of contemporary artists. You will be encouraged to develop a personal project and you will be guided in the construction of a loom. Additionally, you will learn about weaving using various colours stitching techniques such as hatching and slitting, experimenting with colour mixing, and how to complete and display a weave. Materials will be provided.
