For the past fifteen years, Alexis Aubin-Laperrière has attempted to capture everything that surrounds him through writing, drawing, collage, engraving and the latest techniques in the digital world. His practice is a wandering where each thing he encounters is grasped and interpreted through the arts. It is only afterwards, by observing the accumulated matter, that we can recognize in the traces of ink left on the paper some fragments of this stay on Earth. Born in Chicoutimi in 1987, Alexis lives and works in Montreal.
