Sketching on site

Expressive rhythm, colour and light can be captured with immediacy in the intimate sketchbook format; a confident approach to on-site drawing is the goal. Class will meet in a series of indoor and outdoor settings, that include a museum, botanical gardens, parks, café terrace, outdoor market, etc. Simple materials such as pencil, pen and ink, and various pastel or watercolour pencils will be used.
